If you want to visit Sun Moon Lake, we recommend to book a tour, transportation and English speaking guide in Taipei. Travel advise: the road to Sun Moon Lake by car takes about 3.5 hours, and while on the road, you probably want to visit several places of interest - for example, the ancient port city Dukan. The roads in Taiwan are very good - is immediately evident that local government spent enough money for road infrastructure.

In my opinion, the most beautiful China Town in the world is located in San Francisco - at least, I like it much more than such areas in New York, Amsterdam or Berlin.

Getting there: Discover China Town is very easy - you need a leisurely walk on Grant avenue from California street – the place, where are numerous hotels and shops.

     Circo Massimo (Latin Circus Maximus) - the most extensive racetrack in Ancient Rome, Italy, located in the valley between Aventino and Palatine. The competition on the racetrack could simultaneously participate twelve chariots. According to legend, this point was the place of kidnapping Sabine women.

It’s believed that the chariot races were first held here by king Tarquins Prisco (c. 500 BC). The valley between the Palatine and the Aventino, the length of 600 and a width of about 150 m from ancient times, because of its position in the oldest part of town and very convenient configuration area, a     place of horse racing related to ancient Rome, games (ludi Romani). To 329 BC. er. of  devices for the races at this point not mentioned, but there was the     arena and temporary seats for honored visitors.

    Theatre
    The oldest theater, discovered in Israel, was built during the reign of King Herod, and functioned for hundreds of years until the Byzantine period. The theater has two levels and approximately 4000 seats. Backstage was beautifully decorated wall, resting on columns, height of 3 floors and serves as a background for the scene. Note that at this stage regularly hosts concerts.

    During the Persian rule the Phoenicians built a settlement on the part of one of the bays of Mediaterranean Sea. Settlement,  relates to Dor and prospered. For the first time it is mentioned in the Zenon papyri, dating to 259 BC, called the Tower of Strato.

Dor and Strato Tower had been captured in 103 BC and connected to Judea, but 40 years later the land conquered by     Rome. In the 30th BC Strato Tower was donated King Herod. Herod   built the city and named it Caesarea in honor of his friend and patron — the Roman emperor Octavian Augustus.
