1. Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Grand Mosque The Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Mosque, popularly called Abu Dhabi Grand Mosque gets its name for a reason: It's the third-largest mosque in the world (the first two are in Saudi Arabia) can accommodate more than 41,000 worshipers at once. It has 1,096 exterior columns and 96 columns in the main prayer hall embedded with 20,000 handmade marble panels encrusted with lapis lazuli, red agate, amethyst and mother of pearl. 2. Abu Dhabi Emirates Palace This super-luxurious hotel operated by Abu Dhabi Kempinski is a true Arabian Nights' Palace. For a calm relaxing trip there can be no better place than this in the world. with more then one km private beach. The service is excellent and continues even to the swimming pool. All the restaurants are very good but in our opinion the Moroccan Tagine restaurant is the best. Emirate Palace hotel Abu Dhabi is one of the most impressive hotels and conference venues ever built, and is located only 30 min drive from Abu Dhabi airport. 3. Sir Bani Yas Island nature resortSir Bani Yas Island is the former Royal nature reserve but now is the undoubtedly luxurious Desert Islands Resorts & Spa. Desert Island resort, or Jozor Al Sahra’a as it is known in Arabic, consist of Sir Bani Yas Island, Dalma Island and six Discovery Islands. Beach is very shallow and goes out a long way. Great for kids. You can enjoy the safari along with bicycle riding around the island. Totally recommended for family who seek to have quiet and enjoyable time together. Also this place offers a really good getaway, especially when what you are looking for is a something away from the city life and a serene environment with crystal blue waters. That`s why this place totally recomended for couples. You can choose from a variety of adventure nature-based activities themed around the exciting wildlife and conservation projects on this reprt. Try snorkeling offshore, kayaking through the mangroves, mountain biking and hiking through the salt domes which dominate the island's core or only explore the Arabian Wildlife Park and view many of arabia’s rare indigenous animals on a wildlife drive. You can reach Sir Bani Yas Island by road - it's a 2.5 hour drive from Abu Dabi city. But remember that Sir Bani Yas Island (quiet resort with wild animals) is not the same as Yas Island (Formula One track and hotels). 4. Yas Island Yas Island is located just off the coast about 20km from Abhu Dhabi city center, in 10 min drive from Abu Dhabi International Airport, and 50 min from DubaiHere you can see Ferrari World Abu Dhabi the world’s first Ferrari theme park and largest attraction of its kind. It includes over 20 rides and attractions, theater complex, miscellaneous driving activities, including rides for children of all ages and of course the world’s fastest rollercoaster. Yas Marina Circuit is home of the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix which held its first race on November 1, 2009. Yas Island F1 is said to be the Arabian version of Monaco with four grandstand areas Main Grandstand,North Grandstand, South Grandstand and West Grandstand. Actually Yas Island is quite big and its attractions are spread out. Al Hosn Palace Abu Dhabi Qasr al-Hosn which also known as the white or old fort is the oldest historic Abu Dhabi buildings which dates back to 1793. The palace AbuDhabi was the residence of the erstwhile ruling family. Al Hosn Palce itself is close to the public but great pictures can be taken from the grounds surrounding it. 9. Heritage Village Abu Dhabi The Heritage village is designed as a living museum. it is located at the Breakwater in the middle of Abu Dhabi. Village abudhabi exhibits Bedouin tradition and lifestyle detailing a variety of local traditions, a reconstruction of the old well and irrigation system, mud-brick houses. There is a restaurant on the site, expensive but fine for a drink and break from the heat. 10. Khalifa Park Abu Dhabi Khalifa Park is a gift for the people of Abbu Dhabi from UAE ruler Sheikh Khalifa.The Abu Dhabi Park was built at a cost of $50 million.
